Service Description:
| After a wild dream inspired by “The Play That Goes Wrong,” Rev. Tom Nalesnik put his memories down on paper, telling the story of a Sunday morning worship service in which all the well-planned prayers, messages, and music turn into comedic chaos. As it turns out, the pandemonium is a perfect metaphor for the troubles we’re all experiencing in today’s crazy world. In this sermon, Rev. Nalesnik shares a vision for the road ahead, in which persistence and justice save the day. Rev. Tom Nalesnik makes his home in Leominster, in Central Massachusetts. This coming year he’ll be celebrating 25 years, a quarter century, in ministry. His own faith pilgrimage has been a zig-zag from TV, communications, and advertising to the church. Now retired, he’s been a pastor and an interim minister, served on a task force for small group ministry, worked on religious education curriculum, and wrote religion blogs for the web. Over the past several years, he’s preached at a number of UU congregations throughout the New England area, including Groton, MA, Wakefield, MA, and Norwich, CT. |
