Service Description:

Stoughton’s Pride Service: “Pride: 55 Years of Resistance & Celebration!”

Note: This service will be followed by the Stoughton Pride Festival from 12:30—4:30pm

2024 marks the 55 year anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in NYC, credited as a catalyst for the public gay rights movement and what has evolved into Pride celebrations. This service will share and celebrate the history of progress in the U.S. towards honoring and valuing diversity of sexuality and gender expression. The service will be followed by the annual Stoughton Pride Festival on the First Parish front lawn from 12:30—4:30pm. This service is open to the whole community!

Speaker Bio:

This service will be hosted by the Social & Climate Action Committee.


NOTE: This service will meet in person and also be broadcast on Zoom. Facemasks are currently optional in the First Parish Stoughton building. For the health of all in our community, please attend online if you are ill.
