In her reflection, “Under the Rainbow at First Parish UU Church,”, Brenda will talk about the Annual Stewardship Campaign, how the “arc of light” can bend towards justice, and about how giving keeps the lights on and helps the Church reach its collective goals.  

Speaker Bio:

Brenda Martin is a long-time First Parish church member. She is a member of the Finance Committee and was the church’s Treasurer for several years. She enjoys church events like the Holiday Fair, Chocolate Auction, and BOLA. She handles the auctioneer part of the Chocolate Auction and BOLA, taking over this role when her father, Brad Russell, took a step back. She has been a member of the church for over 30 years.

In her spare time, Brenda enjoys making crafts including handmade greeting cards and jewelry, spending time with her family, cooking and baking, and reading a good book.

She has shared her calling to be a lay-led presenter with past reflections “The Church That Shaped Me,” “Carrying On,” “If These Walls Could Talk,” and “A Wonder-filled Time of Year.”
