“Throw Open the Doors” – Rev. Danielle Di Bona
Unitarian Universalism is a saving faith that we need in our world more than ever. So it is important that we share our faith with others. That means practicing, spiritually, to open the doors…….and we have many doors to open.
Speaker Bio:
The Reverend Danielle Di Bona has served Unitarian Universalism for over 30 years and is the 2018 recipient of the Award for Distinguished Service to the Cause of Unitarian Universalism and the 2004 recipient of The Melvin Hoover “Beloved Community Award” for outstanding service to Communities of Color in Unitarian Universalism. Currently, Rev. Di Bona serves as the Palliative Care chaplain at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA.
She has served as a member of the UU Nominating Committee, the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation board, and the Board of the Church of the Larger Fellowship. She previously provided AR/AO/MC support to the GA Planning Committee. Rev. Di Bona is the former President and Vice President of the Diverse and Revolutionary Unitarian Universalist Multicultural Ministries and served as a DRUUMM Chaplain. She now serves on the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee Nominating Committee. Danielle is also a Chaplain to the UUA Board of Trustees.
