The Power of Story: Belonging

Service Description:

Storyteller Elisa Pearmain will guide us over three Sundays this fall to experience the power of story and storytelling to teach, heal, and connect. On this Sunday, the theme will be on belonging. A few members will share short stories they’ve written of finding a sense of belonging at First Parish.

Speaker Bio:

Elisa Pearmain, M.Ed., M.A., has been telling stories professionally for over thirty-five years. She is the author of two collections of world wisdom tales, including the award-winning, Doorways to the Soul: 52 Wisdom Tales from around the World. She has also published an award-winning CD called “Forgiveness: Telling Our Stories in New Ways.” She works part-time as a psychotherapist in private practice in Concord, MA. Elisa co-authored a UUA Moral Tales curriculum for grades 2-3.

NOTE: This service will meet in person and also be broadcast on Zoom. Facemasks are currently optional in the First Parish Stoughton building. For the health of all in our community, please attend online if you are ill.
