The 1985-95 comic strip contains what amounts to a Unitarian Universalist sermon.
Speaker Bio:
Rev. Richard Trudeau was ordained by the First Parish in Stoughton in 1995. He was for 17 years the minister of the UU Church of Weymouth and for 35 years a teacher of math and the history of astronomy at Stonehill College. He is the author of two books for UUs: Universalism 101 and Bible Stories for Skeptics. Now semi-retired, he has reactivated his membership in the Unitarian Church in Fall River (the first UU church he attended), and is Chair of The Unitarian Universalist Multiracial Unity Action Council. He is married to Susan O’Connor, longtime Director of Religious Education at First Parish Stoughton, who after many careers is spending her retirement as a genealogist.
