Service Description:

The (lost?) Virtue of Reverence by Rev Beverly Morrison Boke

Description: Is the virtue of reverence completely lost in these most irreverent times? Can we recover it? Do we want to?

Bio: The Rev. Beverly Morrison Boke — called “Buffy” by just about everyone — was called and settled as minister to the Canton, Massachusetts congregation in August 2011, from which she retired in July of 2017.

Immediately prior to that, she served on the Administration Team as a guidance counselor for three years at the American Community School in Beirut, Lebanon.

Buffy was ordained at the Unitarian Church of Barnstable in 1985. She has served Unitarian Universalist congregations in Hartland Four Corners, Weathersfield, and Chester, Vermont; Andover, New Hampshire; and Newport News, Virginia. In addition, she has supplied pulpits in many other towns in Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
