Our Fair Trade Market offers Equal Exchange‘s high quality, fairly traded, organically grown coffees, teas, chocolate, cocoa, nuts and dried fruit.

All proceeds go to purchase food and supplies for the 50 bag lunches we make for Father Bill’s MainSpring House each month. (Prices are rounded up to the next whole dollar.) The Market and lunch program are part of our commitment to reduce food insecurity in the region.

Your purchases also support an alternative business model for the global food system where small-scale farmer cooperatives sell directly to Equal Exchange and receive a fair price for their crops through organic and social premiums instead of smallholder farming families selling to corporate middlemen. The world’s small-scale farming families grow three quarters of the food eaten on the planet; and most live in poverty, often struggling to stay on their land.

Help build Stoughton’s Climate Cafe and community resilience by coming out to connect with others this winter. The First Sunday Climate Cafeis a great place to enjoy a free cuppa coffee, tea, or cocoa with friends, share your ideas and practices for low impact living, and consider the UU Green Sanctuary and Ministry for Earth programs as we move into the new year.
