Coming Home, Like Rivers to the Sea

Service Description:

Our Annual In-Gathering and Water Communion:  Coming Home, Like Rivers to the Sea – Worship Committee
Along with hundreds of other UU congregations on this early September Sunday, we will gather in again. Share in this now traditional end-of-summer Unitarian Universalist service of worship. The Spirit of Life author Carolyn McDade and her friend Lucile Longview created the service in 1980 and said of it, “As water changes form and moves in a life-giving cycle, so this ceremony must move in process, in change, in motion … always reflective of the time and people creating it.”

Bring yourself, family, and friends, and a bottle of water representing a special summer memory to pour into the common vessel.
