Pride 2023: Celebrating Resistance

Service Description:

First Parish’s annual Pride service will celebrate the resistance and strength of LGBTQ+ people and communities. In 2023, we are seeing hundreds of anti-LGBTQ laws being proposed, with a very high number of them specifically anti-trans. States throughout the U.S. are trying to limit the rights to health care, equality, and safety for LGBTQ+ people. In response, queer and trans people, and their allies, are resisting with strength, humor, passion, and love. Our service will provide a space for us all to celebrate and join that resistance.

Led by the Social & Climate Action Committee.

NOTE: This service will meet in person and also be broadcast on Zoom. Facemasks are currently optional in the First Parish Stoughton building. For the health of all in our community, please attend online if you are ill.
