Service Description:
Kindness is love in action. The giver and the receiver are nourished by the beauty of kindness internally and in our connections to one another. Elisa will share stories and some of what she has learned in the last couple of years co-leading programs on kindness through the Healing Story Alliance.
Speaker Bio:
Elisa Pearmain, LMHC, has been telling stories professionally for over 35 years. She is chair of the Healing Story Alliance, which has been producing monthly Kind Story Concerts that feature both professional tellers and everyday people sharing their stories of kindness, given, received, and observed. She is also the author of two collections of Folk Tales including Doorways to the Soul: 52 Wisdom Tales from around the World and an upcoming book on the Forgiveness Process through Story.
NOTE: This service will meet in person and also be broadcast on Zoom. Facemasks are currently optional in the First Parish Stoughton building. For the health of all in our community, please attend online if you are ill.
