“Change Your Thinking ~ Change Your Life” – Tricia Whiffen

Description:

There is power in affirmations, being in the moment and focusing on the positive aspects of each moment in our daily life. Music will be provided by Dawna Hammers

Bios:

Tricia Whiffen: Tricia has been a member of First Parish for 18 years and serves on the Board of Trustees, is an active member of the Worship Committee and assists with the Mainspring Lunch Program. Tricia will talk about how her discovery of Science of Mind / Religious Science by Ernest Holmes in the middle 1990s has guided her to where she is today spiritually, mentally, and
physically. Tricia is from Avon and is a certified Laughter Yoga leader and believes in the health benefits and ability to unite people using the power of laughing together.

Dawna Hammers: With over 25 years’ experience performing and teaching throughout New England, Dawna has touched and inspired thousands of people of all ages and walks of life with her “Music for the Heart & Soul” lessons, classes, concerts and cds. Dawna’s voice is earthy and ethereal, and her piano is rhythmic and melodic. Dawna’s sound is fresh and uniquely her own, yet many compare her to Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Sarah Mclachlan and Norah Jones. Dawna mainly plays ballads, bossa’s & blues, however, is also very versatile in folk, soft rock, classic rock, world beat and children’s music as well.
