The people at FP Stoughton come together to bring vibrancy to the downtown, to help individuals make things happen in town that they want to see happen, to challenge themselves, and to expand their skills and their heart in the process.
I am not a religious person (I identify as a Secular Humanist/Atheist) and I have found a home at First Parish! It is a place that prioritizes building community above all else. People are committed to a set of values, not dogma.
I am blessed to be an active member of this amazing spiritual congregation of mixed faiths. First Parish is like a family – we work together for the greater good of our physical church, our congregation, and our community.
I love going to service on Sundays and I love that we offer a variety of programs to the community. I especially appreciate the monthly lunches provided to the Mainspring House in Brockton and how everyone participates in the preparation together.
We rent space at First Parish for karate classes because their low rental rates allow us to keep our student tuition low. Plus, being in the center of town, it’s such a convenient location.
